buttermilk.lemon zest+juice.bbq sauce.yum

so..i know this isn't very exciting
..but it is todd's FAVORITE.
really.not joking.i'm serious.
but i have to say..it is pretty good.
a chef told me...if you want to enhance the flavor of any dish
{sweet or savory}
..and have already seasoned with salt..
to squeeze some citrus{acidity}over your dish.
wow! this was amazing. i started drenching all my
dishes in tangerine.blood orange.and even lime juice.
try it and get back to me.

ps. one more tip.
right when you remove these babies from
the hot oil and place on the {cooling} rack..
it's the best time to sprinkle with salt and pepper
..the remaining oil will soak up the seasoning and it won't roll off.

..amazing berry blintzes..

cream cheese.butter.ricotta.berries.yum!

remember my friend byron..
yeah..well. we attempted to make his humble
mothers day breakfast..ha. i think we've
made this 3 times already.. ladies brunch.

feel like a cow. this salsa is also amazing
on grilled salmon or just by itself. my sis
found this in sunset magazine
..now a fam and friend favorite for sure.

oats.mashed banana.nutmeg.golden raisins.yum

don't even try and slim this one down.
you have to..have to make the frosting.
somethin about the cream cheese and oats
and naners taste so good!
bake @ 400 for 10 minutes
{let continue to cook for 10
more minutes on pan
..out of the oven}
a new twist on the whole
oatmeal raisin idea.

bring on summer!
